hand on network documentation
Press Release:

The U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) has awarded the netTerrain IT visualization software suite from Graphical Networks with a Certificate of Networthiness (CoN). The CoN certification confirms that netTerrain meets — or exceeds — the criteria set forth by the Army and Department of Defense (DoD) standards for security, compatibility, and sustainability. Army IT professionals can now easily deploy netTerrain to gain a better understanding of IT assets with netTerrain’s network documentation, dcim, and outside plant management capabilities.

netTerrain equips IT teams with a powerful solution for tackling management of networks and data centers. With netTerrain, IT assets (and costs) are easier to manage, troubleshoot, and understand. “Without a way to see what’s being used, how, and where, IT teams today are wasting valuable money and time scrambling to keep up,” Fred Koh, Graphical Networks President, comments. “netTerrain removes key roadblocks for effective infrastructure management, replacing them with a cost-effective interface for understanding the network, gaining real-time insights, and generating actionable reports.”

Usability and flexibility are two key ways in which netTerrain is both easy-to-use and easy-to-deploy in a variety of environments. The netTerrain suite does not require 3rd party plugins or thick clients to install; users can model their own assets in minutes.

This CoN accreditation applies to netTerrain’s entire suite of IT visualization products: DCIM software, network documentation software, and outside plant management software.
