With the release of version 6.6, netTerrain now offers a comprehensive cabling management product that builds upon the software’s highly in-demand cabling management functions. netTerrain’s new dynamic Outside Plant (OSP) mapping service, ideal for outside plant (requires new netTerrain license), meets the needs of expanding infrastructures. The OSP service offers 19 zoom levels, giving users the ability to level down to the street. The maps, which include postal codes, street names, towns, suburbs, state/region, and latitude/longitude information, are available worldwide and are updated daily. Other key 6.6 release features include client-based Powerpoint and Visio exports, layer 2/3 network discovery and a Spanish language option.
