Exclusive Sneak Peek for Data Center World Attendees

dcim-solutionAs a global leader in network documentation solutions, Graphical Networks will be showcasing its newest version of netTerrain next week at AFCOM Data Center World. Data Center World, a heavily attended tradeshow, will be held in Las Vegas. The Graphical Networks team will be located at booth #428. netTerrain is an enterprise-grade platform for network documentation that brings organizations of all sizes the freedom and flexibility of holistic IT management. Current customers putting netTerrain to work for them include: NASA, Dell, Honda and Lockheed Martin.

6.5, netTerrain’s newest version which is slated to roll out at the end of Q2 2015, is a significant leap forward for the company. The most recent version, 6.1, had introduced SQL Server 2014 support, new shape options, the advantage of viewing hidden objects in outline mode and ITK improvements. 6.5 features a highly innovative reporting engine, which provides graphical reporting tools that go above and beyond to take network documentation to the next level. Customizable dashboards will further enhance the functionality of netTerrain for its users.

The 6.5 version of netTerrain also gives users the power to create “bundled links”, which will prove useful in scenarios such as: in fiber optic documentation to associate individual strands with a fiber trunk, for data center management to route cables through select trays or outside plant to associate cable traces with ducts and conduits. Additionally, 6.5 includes multi-language support, shows front/back views of devices on a rack and embedded background coordinates.

This innovative and customer-centric software upgrade deepens the commitment Graphical Networks continually devotes to IT network documentation solutions that exceed the expectations of users and enterprise today. The need to automate IT is real – and Graphical Networks stands apart in the DCIM world. Scalable, native, secure and 100 percent web and real-time based, netTerrain brings order to the data center – whether its 100 devices or 10,000.
